Week 8
This week was more of a laid-back week academically, but it was a rough week personally. This week, the only event that I facilitated was the Student Experience Panel. I was not working alone in this event. I had my fellow Basses Miranda, Kayli, Hariph, and Daniel there. It was nice answering questions that the facility had in order to make some improvements for the spring semester. That shows how much the professors care about their student's education. They want to know how their students are doing and what are some improvements that they can do in order to help them go through the semester more smoothly.
Of course, I worked at the welcome desk this week. Not many phone calls when I was working, so my shift was mostly quiet. I have not done much with my mentees. I figured that due to their busy schedules, they do not have that much time to look at my emails and respond back.
With school, there has only been 1 exam and that was Japanese. I still really like my Japanese class, because it is a lot of fun and it is something that I am passionate about.
With my personal life, I have been dealing with self-esteem issues and other personal issues that I will go into detail. However, it was nice to have close friends that are there for you and are there to listen. I am happy and grateful for our Ambassador group because we are really caring towards each other and have each other's back no matter what.
That is all that I have for this week, and I will keep y'all update! =)
