Week 11
Aaaannnnnnnndddd, we are in week 11!!! Throughout this whole semester, this has been the most stressful academic week that I have had. Thanks to the support that I have had and the big news (that I will say later in this post), it made my week far less stressful. With ambassador duties, I was about to help facilitate a COVID-19 Testing Event, but it got canceled fairly soon. Other than that, I hung up posted for the blood drive It was fun and relaxing doing it with my friend and fellow Bass, Daniel!
In addition to that, I planned out some emails that I will send out for next week. Also, we had our Ambassador meeting this week. I was really fun catching up with everyone and talking about memes XD We discussed what ambassador stuff we are going to do for next semester. There will be some slight changes, but majority of it will stay the same.
Aside from ambassador duties, school, in general, is getting really hectic for me. There is an overload of work that I have to do in a short period of time. Luckily, with the help of really great friends, and intense heavy studying and focus, I got them done. Sadly, I did lose a lot of sleep, but it was totally with it because I slept an amazing 14 hours Friday night!
Now with my personal life, besides the lack of sleep throughout this week, I had lots of fun spending time with all of my friends/fellow Basses!! Now time for the big news!!! I applied for being a Student Orientation Coordinator (SOC) last week, and I GOT THE POSITION!!!! I was interviewed this week and it was so nice seeing Chris, and the previous SOCs & SOI. And I received a phone call from them saying that I got the position!!! I cannot believe that I am officially a SOC!!! This has been literally the best highlight of my week and semester!!!
That is all that I have for this week, and I will see y'all next week with another update!!!
