Week 5

Each week is getting more and more stressful as time passes by, by that is the college life! At the beginning of this week, there was so much stuff going on to the point I actually got a headache, but it taught me that I can handle and manage myself decently and that the human body is able to recuperate itself on its own. It also helped me get my mind off of school for a bit and just talk with friends. So all the people that I have encountered in person or online helped me throughout my rough times this week and if y'all are reading this, then I want to thank you for helping me and keeping me sane! =)

Throughout this week, I was a part of a couple of events! I finally got to finish the "How to Get Involved!" event. It was a lot of fun and I am very happy that I was able to still be a part of this event. It was an interview-like style on Webex. Dr. Frame gave me some advice for the future and I am going to be taking it.

The other event was actually with the Technology Committee. I enjoyed hearing the insiders of what is going on with the campus technology-wise, and what are the future plans for next semester. It made me realize that all of the professors and the Technology Committee are taking online learning seriously, and I am very proud of them!

Sadly, I have not heard back from my mentees, but I will try to update them again once or twice and announce the group meeting day. I worked the welcome desk and it was relaxing. Not my phone calls, so I made the time to look over the new updated information about campus. Lastly, we had our group meeting it made me happy seeing everyone all at once, even though we were doing the meeting online. However, it was a lot of fun and I had lots of laughs with everyone including Molly! XD

Well enough about school, now let's get into my life. Well........ it didn't do anything exciting this week XD  EXCEPT helping my friend Chauncey battled a spider that crawled out of his backpack!!! Well, we not "battled" it, we were just spooked and we had to plan out how to get rid of it. We just got a cup, scooped it up, and released it back into the wild. The scary part was capturing it. After that, Chauncey made an awesome disc track about the spider and it was called Backpack Spider. It was a beautiful masterpiece that needs to be on the Billboards Top 100 at #1 because it was that amazing! That is all for now, I hope y'all had a laugh and I will update y'all next week! =)
